Egniol Environmental Limited are appointed as National Construction Quality Assurance provider for Infinis plc

Infinis plc is the largest purely renewable energy generator in the UK. Their main business activity at present is the generation of green electricity using landfill gas. In the renewable energy sector they are amongst the UK market leaders, producing 8% of the UK’s renewable energy output.

In June 2010, at the end of a challenging procurement process, Egniol were appointed as National Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) partners for Infinis plc.

Infinis plc generate electricity from landfill gas at very many landfill locations across the UK. As part of their business drive to increase renewable electricity production Infinis plc are continuously investing in their asset base development process by continuous improvement of their landfill gas management infrastructure. This involves the installation of gas wells and other elements of gas collection infrastructure to the highest construction standards on landfill sites across the UK.

To ensure that all construction carried out for Infinis plc meets rigorous and exacting quality requirements, Egniol have been appointed by Infinis plc to help plan, supervise and report on all construction work undertaken by their contractor partners across the UK.

To provide this service from our offices in Bangor, Pickmere and Bingham we have assigned a dedicated team of up to 5 CQA managers and 14 full time site based CQA Inspectors to be available at any point in time for Infinis plc.

Our regional CQA managers and inspectors are supported by our office teams, including project managers, designers, autocad technicians, surveyors, an expert construction health and safety manager and administrators.

With vast relevant experience, an open and inclusive approach together with a keen understanding of the need for prompt and positive decisions, our CQA team provides a service to all our clients that is second to none.
