CDM Coordinator
The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 were introduced with the objective of improving the health and safety record of one of the most hazardous industries in this country. The Regulations clearly define the responsibilities of Clients, CDM Coordinator, Designers, Principal Contractor and other Contractors. Each now has an important role in planning and coordinating the health and safety aspects throughout the duration of a project and throughout the life of the resultant structures. One of the main duties of the Client is to appoint a CDM Coordinator.
The CDM Coordinator has an essential role in carrying out the requirements of these Regulations and ensuring that the Designers comply with their responsibilities.
We can carry out the role of CDM Coordinator to assist the client to comply with the requirements of the CDM Regulations by ensuring that the health and safety aspects of a project are implemented from the initial designs through to completion and maintenance of the project.
