Specific commercial experience available within the Company includes:-

•	Negotiation with landowners to secure land rights to mineral or airspace, through leases, licences or via wayleaves, for a range of uses, including landfill or compost sites, quarries, waste or minerals processing plants, mineral reserves, recycling or soils recovery sites, transmission media and access routes.
•	The agreement of rent or licence payments and of periodic reviews, taking into account the collection and analysis of ‘market rate’ data, together with the authorisation of figures for payment under such agreements
•	The letting of land or property through Farm Business Tenancies, grazing licences or Assured Short-hold Tenancies, etc.
•	The establishment and management of lands / minerals terriers.
•	Negotiations with LPA’s on behalf of private companies or individuals for CPO compensation or at arbitration.
•	The provision of ‘due diligence’ advice, to include the assessment of residual environmental risk, and giving commercial and / or technical advice during Company or site acquisition.
•	The provision of rating advice, including negotiations for transitional relief.
•	The provision of commercial and technical advice during the preparation of commercial contract bids, under CCT and / or PFI.
•	the establishment of disposal collection and transportation contracts, including recycling or bring ‘bank’ servicing.
•	the establishment of composting and recycling exemption schemes, including negotiations with HM Customs and Excise.
