We have a number of Chartered Engineers with many years’ practical experience in the construction industry, using contracts such as ICE 6th, ICE Minor Works and the New Engineering Contract, we will provide the following services :-

• preparation of Bills of Quantities
• Preparation of Specifications
• contract issue, tender receipt and appraisal, including review of alternative designs deemed to meet ‘performance’ specifications
• contractor appointment including pre-start meetings, contract-management on-site via an experienced site engineer and co-ordination of progress meetings
• issuing of payment certificates, or certification of retention monies
• advice at arbitration or final payment negotiation

We will undertake the role of Planning Supervisor under the Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 1994 for construction projects. This service is provided by our qualified and industry-experienced civil and geotechnical engineers. Our team has a wealth of experience in providing third party Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) for an extensive range of construction projects:-

• Preparation of CQA Plans, to meet industry best practice and Environment
Agency guidance.
• Provision of industry-experienced CQA engineers and support staff.
• Production of CQA validation reports on completion of the works, coupled with
their submission for Environment Agency approval or acceptance.
• Liaison with the Environment Agency, or other statutory bodies, throughout the project, from design to receipt of final approval.
