Egniol has brought together a range of  ‘hands-on’ practical site, operational and post-closure management experience, in part from the private sector of the industry. We can offer this knowledge on the following basis:-

• Short-term to cover personnel shortages during holidays, sickness or employee training.
• Fixed-term periods to pending the appointment of new employees.
• Support management during site commissioning, temporary shutdown or, permanent closure.
• Post-closure management of sites under fixed-term contracts.

• Landfill operation and supervision, on the basis of single or multi-site management capability to CoTC holder status (managing landfill operations : special waste – level 4).
• Management of civic amenity sites, external composting operations, and aggregates recycling plants.
• Transfer station operations management.
• Management and operation of landfill gas abstraction /combustion units and leachate abstraction / treatment systems.
Post closure management experience includes :-
• Project management for site closure, including the placement of any precapping
amelioration layer and final restoration soils.
• The appointment of agricultural tenants for grazing and/or cropping of the restored surface
• Applications for woodland grants.
• Closed site supervision including the management of the restoration layer and
environmental management infrastructure.
• Liaison with land-owners, planning authority and Environment Agency representatives immediately prior to and during the aftercare period.
• Preparation and negotiation of site closure and aftercare plans, and associated costs.
