Providing engineering solutions, environmental consultancy and advisory services to the built environment.

About us

Egniol is an independent multi-disciplinary consultancy delivering engineering and environmental management services, project management services and advisory services across the built environment. Our clients come to us for robust, cost effective engineering solutions; environmental risk management; regulatory compliance; and sustainability and carbon management support.

What we do

We provide essential support across a wide range of engineering and environmental services at all stages in the development of infrastructure that improves our communities, protects our environment and creates value for our clients. Our purpose is not just what we do but the difference we make.

Our People

We know that our people set us apart. People who can quickly get to grips with complex problems and provide straightforward solutions. People who understand our client’s needs and have the necessary skills and experience and deliver them with passion and integrity. Naturally, our trusted team of experts is at the heart of our business. Their reputation for providing clear, effective advice is relied upon with confidence time and again by our clients.

Our Values

Approachable and committed is how we are often described by our clients and we wouldn’t disagree that these are two of our defining values. But we have other values that go far beyond these, values that are embedded within the fabric of our business and which reflect our guiding principles; to operate safely, ethically and always with an overarching regard for the welfare of the environment and the communities around us.

Environmental & Social Governance

We have in place an Environmental Management System which is independently accredited by BSI to ISO 14001 and which helps us to continuously reduce the impact we have on the environment, from reducing the fuel and energy we use to recycling our waste materials. As part of this, we undertake an annual carbon audit of our activities, in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, to allow us to benchmark our environmental impact and actively reduce it year on year.
We are equally conscious of our broader responsibilities to society. We offer all of our staff paid volunteering time and through a variety of fundraising activities, attendance at sponsored events and direct donations to charitable causes, the generosity and hard work of our team helps us to try to help those who are less fortunate than we are. Where possible we like to support local people and causes.
